    Stock Tune?

So, is there no way to override the TCM with tuning?

Your current tune is one file with ECM and TCM tuning programmed into the PCM.

I believe you will need a new tune without the TCM tuning included.

    This is highly frustrating.

My truck is sitting in the shop because they can’t finish up the transmission programming with the current tunes.

The DRD site says they won’t answer questions regarding deleted tunes, and I don’t even know who I can get to retune the truck.

The problem with the tuneless valve body lies in increased line pressure via transmission tuning, which is built to increase line pressure on its own.

If you can't find a tuner to help you, another option would be to have the shop swap out the valve body for one that will handle increased line pressure.

Do you think the quick learn program in EZ Lynk would fix it?

The shop says everything looks good, including pressures.

    It’s just shifting too quickly.

I don’t think quick learning will fix the issue.

I agree with @KJC that you need new tunes or a tunable valve body.

    I emailed them on Friday.

I sent my info to upgrade my membership on Saturday, so hopefully they’ll respond soon.

The shop wants to reset everything to stock on the ECM and TCM, which I’m fine with until I can get tunes.

I need to make sure I am doing it correctly.

If they return to the stock file you will have lots of trouble codes.

Dont have them reset the ECM.

As Bob mentioned, your deleted, throwing it back to stock will pop every code known to man and throw you into limp mode from the lack of garbage equipment they came with.

    Two options to go with.

I would hang tough until IGOTACUMMINS can verify info you've sent him.

I know the feeling having a stranded rig, it blows.

Thats what I would personally do is get a tune over a VB.

Plus, don't have to drop the pan and make sure your batteries are fully charged with a tender hooked up on one of the batteries when updating the brain .

    Problems fixed.

Edit: @IGOTACUMMINS Might consider throwing this behind closed door, I see guests unless were good to go.

    It's in drivetrain category.
