    Stock tune?

2 part question while I wait for someone from DRD to email me back .

    1) How do I put the stock tune back on the truck?

    2) I got my trans rebuilt, but the shop used a “tuneless kit”. I guess the kit is not playing well with the DRD tunes, or is this something that I can have fixed when I get the truck home and have all of the build specs that I can send off to get new tunes built?

    Re: Stock tune?

What you'll want to do is revert back to the stock tcm file.

This will allow the transmission to function properly with the tuneless kit installed.

So do I have to put the stock file back on the MM3 tuner or how do I go about setting the TCM to stock? Also will the kit prevent me from having the TCM tuned by DRD?

    Re: Stock tune?

On my 08 it might be different than yours.

My TCM is separate from the ECM.

mine has the option to click onto the TCM and engage the custom tune which would show a TCM-0 indicating no tune is applied, or TCM-1 which means it's engaged.

Being the PCM for newer rigs, I'm not sure if you can switch the tune on or off for the transmission.

PCM controls both ECM and TCM.

It is different from my understanding… I guess the AISIN is the only trans that has separate tuning. ?

DRD tuning is no longer available, I believe you will need new tuning without the transmission tuning.

Look into the "Plus membership" it's free, and will allow you to explore other options.

Unfortunately you will not hear back from DRD about anything related to emissions deleted.
    The EPA shut that down.

He only does emission compliant tuning on Cummins and also Ford high performance gas engines at his new business D R P Motorsports.

That’s a bummer. Sad that they’re so concerned with emissions when the processes to mine lithium and recycling EV batteries is way worse than the CO2 footprint from our trucks.
