Thread: Axel Removal?

    Axel Removal?

    I have a 2018 RAM 2500.

Do I need to put my truck in 4wd before removing the passenger side axle so the CAD axle collar does not fall into the axle housing?

Hopefully, someone who knows for sure if this is necessary on your 2018 will chime in.

Meanwhile, I would put in 4WD as a precaution.

See this link for more information.
