I have a 2022 RAM 3500 SRW with only 49,000 miles on it.
Could the DEF injector be clogging up?
According to the YouTube channels I watch, that is the common issue.

If so, take it to the dealer, and let them fix it.
If for some reason it isn't under warranty, I would be waiting as patiently as possible there is a lot going on with the EPA as we speak changes happening everyday and many of us waiting for the big change.
I know I haven't been too helpful, but that emissions equipment can get expensive if you have to foot the bill.

Get it fixed under warranty, then jettison the crap soon there after.
Just hang onto the parts.

Yeah, I'm calling them today for an appointment, and yes, once the warranty over that’s the plan, LOL.

Finally at the dealer for the BS CEL/DEF.
Verified only 4k miles left on warranty. :-)

That’s about how much warranty I had left given my useage, LOL!
As soon as that gets back to your driveway, I would be getting the parts, and you’ll never have to see that service DEF soon code again.

Yep!
Can’t believe the warranty on emissions is only 5 years or 50k miles.
I already ordered parts.
Once my truck hits 50k it’s on, LOL.

Hopefully, the dealer fix lasts that long.
My justification to do now was because I know it is good and code free/good shape.
I was just talking to a longtime friend in Arizona 2023 with 7900miles, been towed to the dealer 6 times in 19 months owning it.
All emissions relqated.
At the dealer, a total of 9mos outta the 19mos.
Always a month+ waiting on parts.
The latest repaired was a complete exhaust system, the dealer said plugged up.
Got it back, drove 400 miles and warning lights, surging, tried to pull off the road, and completely shut down.
He is pushing for a buyback on this $91k truck.
Mind you, he just got it back in December for a DEF system replacement 3-31/2 months.
Hopefully, you get through the warranty quickly.
My parts sat around a few years until I just couldn’t stand it anymore.
Good luck.

They replaced the DEF pump.
It might take me a few months to get all the parts I want more than I need, LOL.
