He just got a new set of injectors not too long ago. Now he just needs to find the programmer or footer box that works the best for what he wants....

With that said. As much as I hate to admit it Grumps, I am starting to think you won't find what your looking for except for UDC and the customization of it.

Yeah I know. . . . Way down deep, I knew what the answer was. . . . I was avoiding the inevitable if I could. LOL

Of course, lots of stuff has changed dramatically in the tuner world in 5 years. You never know.

DDR I put +50's in last May. Truck runs better, but didn't gain a thing. My mods were mentioned and their in my sig.

We all agree the ECU and the tuner are holding it down. I also need to bring down the EGT's a couple of hundred degrees.

Didn't get to test for boost leaks

That's weird that you didn't gain anything with those injectors. But as we have all found out every truck is different.

I spoke with Lavon today. Nice guy. Knows Smarty Talk quite well. I told him he's a best kept secret. For those who find this on the internet

    Firepunk Diesel
    Lavon Miller

As we all agree, every truck responds different. He can guarantee anything as far as MPG is concerned, he has gotten 24 out of some and others just bomb. With my luck, I have the bomb. He's pretty reasonable. I just have to come up with a Smarty. He knows my position with Smarty.

Looks like he builds one hell of a trans too. His prices seem very competitive! I was surprised at them. Maybe I'll use his instead of doing my own next time

I also mentioned Crabby. @Canadiandiesel He was like "That guy!!!"

After 1/2 and hour on the phone, reality is what I was trying to avoid. Guess I'll need to bite the bullet.
