    Unhappy check engine light and codes

    just hit 73000 miles on 2002 2500 stock besides the 4 inch exhaust from turbo back straight pipe no cat. turned the key three times came up with p 1693 then p done then p ecu then p 0237 then p done. what does this mean and what do I do???

    Start with looking up the codes. Google them. Tell us what they are.

    the 0237 is boost pressure low. check all of your boost boots for a boost air leak

    well I guess it turned out to only just be my map sensor could have been cheap and easy but there was a screw upand it ended costing me 550 dollars........................................... .................................................. ................................................. I work a crap load and on nightshift so I had dad take it to the shop down the road they called him and he said do whatever you need to and they charge me 298 for the map sensor 40 for the harness 90 dollars to clean a single battery terminal and the rest was labor and diagnosing it................................................ .................................................. ............ sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooo happy.. but ya turned out to just be the map sensor seems to be running fine for the most part

    Did they send the hooker over with the bill? You deserve some lip service for that one.
    Dealer sell on that MAP is 100 bucks. After market is like 78 to 85. Code reader 5 minutes. Man they saw you coming

    trust me man I know I had done my howework I knew the prices I knew how to change they called my dad cuz I work nightshift and he just told em to fix it without asking me. I only wanted them to diagnose exactly wha t was faulty I was super mad bout the whole thing
