03 Dodge 2500 Upgrades and Mods

    Mission: MPG and creature comforts

    As you may know, I traded my 08 4 X 4 for an 03 RWD http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4dr-Q...orcev4exp=true

My mission is to get the best MPG I can without dropping a lung and a few other body parts.

With that said, what mods do you think I should do?

I already got an Adrenalin which covers the MPG, gauges and Turbo timer

A 05 to 07 Turbo was suggested to get more volume. I need an exhaust brake, I selected the BD

I am looking for a factory radio with Sirius.

I already ordered my LED and HID conversion stuff.
I think wheel opening moldings and shiney door handles will be a nice adder.

What else can I do to make this an economical cruiser/tower

window tint to cut down on UV damage and to make it look killer...

quality sound system makes cruising more enjoyable..

Not sure where else you are looking to go with it all but those are low cost adders to make a cruise more enjoyable...

    Did that on the 08

My Son-in-law does the tinting. I ordered the radio gear today, including the Sirius

One of the things I did to the 08 was put a Gen 2 front valance under the original. Keeps the wind from going under the truck. That will be done
Optimizing the engine for the best possible MPG
    Make it easy to service

    Horse Manure

I already proved it. Makes a truck more aerodynamic.

No Google that word so you know what it means

New shocks will help it ride better if it still has factory shocks. You may consider different tires if they are getting worn down. I know you are a big fan of Firestone. Can you go slightly taller than stock for better mileage on that truck? You could also redo the seat foam to make them more comfortable. Add heated seats if it does not have them already. Weathertech floor mats are always a good upgrade. I hope to get some for Christmas! LOL
New wiperblades...nothing fancy, just new ones.
    Good luck Steve!

    Thanks Stu!

I don't know if you noticed, there were two brand new GoodRich. Had him ditch the 2 original Michelin's. It had the original batteries, he said one was bad and was replacing 1. I didn't like that idea so I paid the difference and got Optima's installed.

If you like Monroe, I found a Monroe store. 35 Bucks each, and get the 4th free for the Gass Magnums. You betchya. . . Those factory shokes are elstinko. As a matter of fact, I was going to order the shocks tonight.

Way ahead of ya my man.

I was thinking about the BD. They also have a torque converter controller to link with the EB.

    I'll take a look. Thanks!
