    Intercooler paint

So I have a 03 Dodge Cummins and this weekend me and my buddies was wanting to paint my intercooler. I was wondering if I could do this with the intercooler in the truck and how hard would it be? And does anyone have pictures of this done?

Was always told this is a bad idea, affects the heat transfer. They use a special paint on radiators. If you were going black, that paint is available from the parts stores I believe. I would like to have mine a different color if someone has any other input?

I wasn't very clear, my apologies. I was talking about the sides of it, not the actual fins. Woild that cause a problem?

If you have paint the fins and tubes, keep it thin. Too much paint reduces the efficiency
