    Golf Cart Mods

Hey Fellas. I just got a golf cart for the campground. Of course stock will not do. Planning a 6 inch lift and 23 inch tires and obviously some power upgrades to support that. Anyone here into carts? Just registered at Buggies Gone Wild forum, but figured I'd check in with my other family too!

Sounds like fun, I'm game! I'll post it up here. Just ordered my lift and wheels. Since we're all family, I'll post yesterday's photo off my offload from the truck. Not one if my finer moments! My wife said it wouldn't work.... Turns out she was right. Go figure. FYI aluminum ramps on asphalt are a very bad combination. The back came off on the ramps which then slid off the tailgate leaving the rear on the ground on the step platform and the front wheels still on the ground. After I changed my drawers, I jacked it up and put some firewood blocks under it and lowered it slowly.

Yeah, I'll never hear the end of it. I knew it was kind of sketchy and asked her to hang around in case I needed her to call 911! I will say she actually pitched right in and helped get wood for me and help out instead of laughing at me. She said she was kind of amazed that I didnt yell and curse. In retrospect I think I was just happy to be unhurt!

... and we're glad your not hurt ...

But trust me ... she will never forget it.
My wife has a very great memory and can spout some of the stuff I did over 40 years ago.
