Is there a manufacturer that builds them with a steel impeller instead of plastic for the 6.7?
I know racers buy a 5.9 and mod them to fit but I ain't going there.

I thought the Gates was metal

I was going to do one for preventive measures but now I will get my mirror and inspect the weep hole before doing anything.
If there is no stain I will leave it be for now.

I've never replaced a 6.7 water pump but I have replaced a 5.9 pump...what is the difference??

5.9 is a 5 blade impeller I believe. 6.7 is a 7 blade, someone might correct me but I put a 6.7 pump on my 5.9 vp truck.
