I like Amazon light bars. Several companies make brackets to work with or without tow hooks. 30" is max if you want to keep the tow hooks.
I have a 20" mounted on a home made bracket that mounts through the licence plate holes.

Seems the most common sizes are between 20" and 24". Depends on the supplier, but straight is fine if you want it with the homemade brackets. Then you can insert back enough to keep the ends hidden. Curved seems to be the most popular from what I see on the road.

well.....i bought a 32 inch aux beam light bar. love it. what i ended up having to do was grind about a half inch off each tow hook for the light bar to fit perfect. i also had to put them on a drill press and punch a mounting hole in each hook. all said in done its better than looking at a mounting bracket.
