Tuner: Edge Juice with attitude | EGR DPF deleted

Just bought a 2007 3500 6.7L.
Came with a older Edge Juice with Attitude monitor, but after I got it home, I thought it wasn't working.
I traced the wiring harness and realized it wasn't even hooked up. Only the display is hooked up with the EGT thermocouple.
I called Edge to ask them about hooking it up and they said since the EGR/DPF have been deleted, it wasn't compatible. He said they only sell street legal components...?
Is that true or was he covering his ***? Is anyone running Edge with these deletes?
What do you guys recommend, try to hook this up or save my money and get another tuner?

Edge products are only emissions compliant. They do not do deletes. No need for the JWA module anyway if you already have delete tuning on the truck.

I imagine they were running the edge for gauges. If it were me I'd look at selling it and going with an MM3 from @Double R Diesel. I love my set up from Ray. If your dead set on EFI... James @rollinsmokediesel carries a few different tuners/autocals. Jonathan @higherpowerperformance is also another good vendor for EFI.
But from experience you can not beat Rays customer service.

Edge had a Race version many years ago but it was short lived so I am quite sure you just have a good old regular Juice that could have been used as gauges and is possibly tuned with another tuner or has sims.

Look under the truck where the exhaust goes for a black plastic box with wires going to and from it. I had a 2007 that I deleted with a kit from BADP and it was a box that connected the sensors. I then ran an edge juice with attitude for performance and gauges. In other words, plugged in. The edge will work with this delete. I mat be wrong but HS also had a delete only kit that also used the ejwa. By using the edge and setting it to clear codes on start I had no worries.

Ok I forgot to mention this is my very first diesel so POP!

i can tell this is some great info you guys are giving me but it's somewhat Greek at the moment. I am learning really fast tho.
Any way y'all can dumb it down for me would be awesome.
I will give the double R diesel a ring and see what they say
