    Water methanol kit

Wondering if anyone is running a water methonal kit. I'm concidering running one, looking at the snow max mpg kit. I plan to start towing on a regular basis. Looking at the kit as a means of improving power and mpg. Thoughts?

2016 Tradesman 6.7 manual. Pile of parts waiting to be installed.

I read this link. I also used my DEF tank as a reservoir ( much better than using the windshield wiper fluid tank). This poster states he's getting methanol for $3 a gallon I haven't been that lucky as I have only found it for $5. I'm hoping that when the local race track opens I'll be able to buy it a little cheaper. All in all I'm happy with this and would install it again. It does keep my EGT's lower, reduces my "rolling coal smoke" when I get on it and does seem to light up quicker. I probably use 2-3 gallons per tank.

Isn't blue windshield washer fluid about $3.00 at Walmart? Same thing... methanol and water.

Now that I'm thinking about it, you must be buying straight methanol and mixing your own?

From what I understand the true blue is 30% meth and is good for towing purpose, but if your looking for more power a 50/50 mix is preferable.
