I felt the same thing the first few days, but seems to have gotten better now that I have put a few thousand miles on them.... either that or I've gotten used to it.

Update... I'm out with the fifth wheel the second time now. Great news is that these tires are very quiet. Still riding rough however. I dropped the air from 80 to 70 and probably going down more because there's no squat, even with 2400 lbs pin weight. Still have the rear end sway, especially under hard acceleration and changing lanes... kinda scary. Any suggestions on psi or strange handling?

If you got rearend sway sounds like you need airbags or heavier duty leaf springs bud

X2 for airbags. 2400# pin weight is putting the factory suspension through a workout. Airbags will definitely firm up the ride in the back.

I am looking at these same tires except for 18s. I was wondering if I should go with load range E or F.

Definitely invest in bags with the weight. Even if you do manual bags to save a little money. You can always add all the goodies later so you don't have to worry about checking them every so often
There's several kits out there that have the compressor and all though that are a pretty decent price and you can install in less than a day. Will be night and day when you drive it after

You could have heavy springs made for you but the ride without a load will be pretty harsh

A buddy has a 2010 with bags. It seems to ride rough when empty, even with no air pressure added.

there is no doubt that the F tires are contributing to the rough ride. and you are correct... airbags aren't going to help when running unloaded. they will help out when you are hooked to the trailer though.

I'm not sure there is anything you can do to help offset the tire stiffness beyond dropping the pressure some more. I know my Terras are much smoother at 65psi then they are at 80 when running empty. Conversely, things feel much more stable at 75-80psi when hooked to the camper.

you also went from a 17 to a 20 and stuck with the same relative tire height, losing 1 1/2" of sidewall isn't helping the ride either. This is the main reason i am only looking at 18" rims when i upgrade.
