Is there a link to any info on the draining or maintenance of the DEF tank after doing a delete on the truck?
i have heard that I can't just leave the fluid in the tank due to it not getting used anymore after I do the delete.

I don't think there is a actual procedure.
I don't have one but have read where those that do, disconnect it from the exhaust system, drain the DEA, then flush it with clear water .. cap it and drive.
If there is something else, someone will chime in sort of soon.
But relax, it might take longer this time, most are getting the bar-b out now for the holiday.

As stated above he is correct.
No really standard procedure.
Draining it and flushing it is the best way that I know of.
That way if for ever any reason you need it or sell it or who knows what someone would want that back for LOL but it won't be corroded with all of that mess that has just been sitting in there ya know?

I just ordered my MM3 with Exhaust and will be deleting all that junk, I am going to take out the tank and mount my compressor, air tank and horn there. seems like a good spot.

I will definitely post some pics. Hope to have the tuner this week, not sure about the pipes though.
You are going to have to drop the cross member that the tank sits on to install your exhaust. I wouldn't even bother putting it back on. Drop it....flush it, then you'll have a nice garage floor ornament

I completely removed my DEF tank and lines. Everything came out pretty easy except the fill neck connection so I just cut it off.

Here is the compressor and 2.5 gallon tank mounted.
I have a 12v solenoid so I can drain the tank from in the cab. Is is connected to #5 aux switch.
