    fly cut pistons

    what does fly cutting your pistons actually do??

    Good question

    I guess they think it makes for better combustion. Flat pistons have been used for years. Buzz words to me. But i know gas combustions chambers better. Self compustion may be different

    Fly cuts are for valve relief on big cams where the motor makes power up to and over 4000 rpm.

    I know that as valve relief. So the fly cut is just a valve relief in the piston?

    it is so that the valves don't give the pistons a kiss when it comes up and your running a bigger cam
