    22x14 ...22x12...20x12....20x14???

    Looking for your guys advice...

Looking to get a new set of rims and tires. Would like to keep the truck leveled or 3 at most. Big kicker is I want to be able to safely tow a fifth wheel. Also don't want the rims to look like I am running on rubber bands.

Pics would be great if you have them...

    Thanks as always guy/gals!!

    Earl

I'd touch base with custom offsets... a site vendor. They have some pretty sweet looking setups. I know ill be giving them a ring this winter to price out some new rubber for my ride.

I was thinking of 22's but wanted more tire, so here are my 20 x 10's with 38 x 13.5 Nitto tires...

X2 for checking out the Custom Offsets gallery to see what you like and how it fits. Since you are thinking 12-14 wide, front fitment is a factor, towing or not. If you don't mind trimming then you should be in good shape.

Personally I like some sidewall on my tires so even 22s with 35s is pushing 'rubber band' category for me. The biggest issue I saw with going to 22s is that the load rating on the tires drops off quite a bit vs an 18 or 20 so that is going to be a big factor depending on how heavy your 5th wheel is.

Between Fitment and Tire availability & Load capacity plus Price as a point, I would recommend 20s. Say a 20x9,20x10 stay between a negative -12 to -25 offset for the stance and fitment. A leveling kit I would run something around a 32.5" like a 295/55-20 or a 33" like a 305/55/-20, both sizes would offer plenty of room and will look good on the truck and wheel, and offer the load capacity of at least a 10 or now the new 12 plys...I would recommend either a Nitto or Cooper made tire. Hope this helps...

I went with 22x10 and 37's and with trimmed if I hit a bump while turning it will rub.

With a level kit I had 20x9 with 35s and I had to trim the plastic liner.

I rather the look of 12 wide! Good luck with your decisions!
